It’s hard out here for an activist.

Finding gainful and steady employment in the movement - especially one that supplies health care - can be difficult at best. Progressive organizations and donors don’t take talent development as seriously as their conservative counterparts, and frequently we’re expected to survive on “psychic income” - or the good vibes we get when we do good. Unfortunately, that doesn’t make for a livable situation.
