ChipIn is a flash widget that allows you to raise money for your organization through your blog or social networking profile.

A ChipIn fundraising campaign can be set up in a few simple steps:

• Designate a “cause” for which money needs to be raised
• Declare a goal - or the amount of money you are seeking to raise
• Set up a payment structure. Payments can be made via PayPal, direct deposit, or check.
• Install widget

ChipIn’s flash widget can be installed on a variety of blogging and social networking platforms. Compatible platforms include MySpace, Blogger, TypePad, NetVibes, Xanga, Google, TagWorld and WordPress.

Promotion on these platforms allows users to leverage their social networks - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree connections - to achieve their stated fundraising goal.
