Democratic Preference by Age

Here's a chart illustrating the partisan breakdown of Tuesday's vote displayed by age demographics. Young voters picked Democrats over Republicans by a 22% margin, the Gen Xers and Boomers chose Democrats over Republicans by 8%, and the "Greatest Generation" chose Democrats over Republicans by 4%. This graph is based on exit polling data.
