mtvU Editorial Board: Students Spar with the Big Dog (Updated)

Update: Campus Politico was there and has more info on the Clinton interview.
-------------------------------

The Clinton Global Initiative University, the student arm of Bill Clinton's CGI, held it's first conference this weekend down in New Orleans where students gathered to discuss poverty, energy and climate change, human rights and global health.

As part of that forum, the former President sat down with four student journalists for a Meet the Press-style grilling hosted by mtvU's new "Editorial Board." It's tough going up against the Big Dog, but this was definitely not a boxer's or briefs kind of interview. It's substantive, and the students do their best to not let the former President off the hook on anything.

You can see a sneak peak at three other questions - about lobbyists, LGBT rights, and "hope" in 1992 vs. 2008 at the mtvU website. From what I understand, the full interview will air on March 26 on mtvU and broadcast to 750 campuses. Future "Editorial Boards" have yet to be announced though I hear they're in the pipeline.
